A Great Wonder traces the journey of three Sudanese refugees who arrived in Seattle after navigating the hazards of war, disease and starvation. Over the course of their first 18 months in America they recorded their experiences using digital video cameras.
The resulting diaries are a personal thread throughout the film, contrasted with footage by journalists about the radically different experience before their immigration. (Director/Producer Kim Shelton, Co-Producer/Camera Leigh Kimball, distributed by Bullfrog Films, ©2003 Two Shoes Productions.)
